Haikus to Serve You – Winter 2019

Grey morning, drips drop
Gravity pulls water home,
My lungs see the snow.

Their eyes watch flakes fall,
While gathering oxygen,
And rest.  All is well.

My lungs see the snow.
My loud shadow is welcomed,
Infinite love sewn.

Into ev’ry home,
And the fibers of auras:
Grace and compassion.

Release, surrender;
Time to bow down now, and  L i v e :
Freer than ever.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She said her career
Is life or death. I must ask:
Where is her breath?
If you die before
You die, then when you die, you
Don’t really die, right?
For myself, and for
All souls: nourished and famished –
I devour breath…
For all beings who
Skimp on oxygen intake
And carbon output,
I devour breath.
Now, Here, I declare:
The breath is my sacred Guide,
Teacher, and Savior.
Welcoming all in,
And letting everything go,
The divine window.
Sacred lungs, beloved eyes,
Vast seers, unknown sages:
Stretch light everywhere.
Forge healing pathways,
With family, and Heart –
Letting peace reign forever.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Forward, backward, and
To every side, people
Forgive, understand,

And stand underneath
Every last soul.  Sewing
Grace and compassion.

Into the human hem.

Drips drop, humanity
Is complete, in transience,
And fluctuations.

We sit still until
The breath moves us up and down.
But for now,

Health & Wealth: Winter Thoughts

Health & Wealth: Winter Thoughts

• Ginger: Stick it in boiling water and drink it. Cook it with your food. It kills all bacteria inside you, and heats you up for hours. Get a thermos and use that as your water bottle, so you can sip on hot/lukewarm ginger water throughout the day.

• Hydrotherapy/cold showers: It’s absurd, but really works. When you get in cold water, all the blood from deep inside your organs rush to your skin surface to fight the cold shock. It takes a lot of courage to get in the cold water and to stick out a shower, but it does tremendous good for your immune system, and your psycho-emotional system. If you can embrace cold water, you can embrace nearly anything  .

• Embrace the season: Some say that loss in appetite/energy levels might be evolutionary: When there wasn’t abundant resources outside, those who could go into micro-hibernation, and withdraw well would fair best in the long run. It’s okay to wanna stay inside as opposed to go out and play, just don’t let your withdrawal/incubation become unhealthy.

• Exercise: Find a way to naturally get your heart rate up. Most of us stop biking/running when it gets cold out (props to y’all who keep going!). Bailing on exercise is a sure-fire way to invite dis-ease in for a long-term stay. Dance around, jump around when outdoors and indoors. Keep on moving to stay warm; physically, emotionally, and creatively.

A Vote for the Love Revolution

(Nov 2018)

A Vote for the Love Revolution.

I am not voting.

This is a deliberate choice.  In the past, I didn’t vote out of ignorance.  This term, I am consciously not engaging: knowing that fake news is a current reality, and believing firmly in a heart-centered consciousness, I will only stand for the love revolution. . I will not contribute to this political system, I will not vote for any side, I will stand up only for the love revolution.

I will love my heart so loudly so that my presence allows others to love, forgive, and heal themselves, and all who surround them.  I will live with love loud, proud, and contagious: Everyone’s bit by the self-love and compassion bug.

When we love ourselves 100%, we automatically serve others. We see people who are hurting and we relate to them, feel for them, and are called to serve and heal them. Our brothers and sisters always automatically manifest themselves right in front of us. Our divine assignments on this planet are always right in front of us.

We do not need to consult Google, or any news source to figure out what what we’re supposed to do, or how we’re of best service to our society.  Let’s look up from our phones, and send love to the next person we see: Strangers, neighbors, enemies and lovers alike.

I will not stay up to speed with the horrors they pump on the television screen.  If we stop injecting fear into our veins through the screens, and turned to those who manifest to us before our eyes, we begin rebuilding the planet: We begin rebuilding political and socio-economic structures to start serving the people, as opposed to having the people serve the systems.   I stand for the love revolution, and nothing else.  We need radical change, and the systems that are in place now won’t serve us moving forward.  It has to collapse so we can start anew.

I am staying off my phone, I’m staying off the screens, I am only casting votes for the Love Revolution.  I’m abstaining from voting, and loving the hell out of everything I see.  I sincerely believe that this is the biggest impact I can make to the political system, to the leaders up top, and to the powers that be.

Let’s open our eyes wide, and send blessings and love to whoever is in our immediate physical presence.  Let us respond to the calls of duty divinity places before our very eyes. In every moment. Long-term, and spontaneous assignments of service, action, rest, and love.  Whatever arises in my life is stepping up to the love-plate. No one goes home hungry: Ready or not.
